Happy New Year!!

Last night I celebrated New Year's in Dam Square, Amsterdam! Some of the top bands in Holland and Europe played on stage in front of a massive audience. We got there in good time so we were near the front, and there were people as far back as the eye could see. By far the largest New Year's celebration I've ever been to. It was a lot of fun, I went with a bunch of people from my hostel comprised of British, Japanese and Danish people. It was a little strange knowing that I was ringing in 2009 6 hours earlier than you guys back in Canada, especially last night when I spoke to Mom & Dad who were calling from a different year than me. haha.
